Terms & Conditions of Business

Payment terms are STRICTLY 30 Days from issue date of invoice, preferred method of payment is by BACS transfer.  A surcharge of 5% WILL be added to EACH late invoice every 30 DAYS until payment is received.

For bulk hay and straw collections, terms are strictly CASH OR CLEARED FUNDS BEFORE loading commences.

All goods remain our property until payment is received and cleared IN FULL

Damage to tyres may be charged at cost.

It is the responsibility of the hiring farmer to clearly mark any manholes, posts, outfalls or any other foreign object that may be damaged/cause damage. Any damage caused is the responsibility of the hirer. Damage to machinery as a result is charged at cost.

Where required permits are the responsibility of the hirer to obtain.

We must be informed if any work area falls under a ELS/HLS scheme.

For Baler & Barons waiting time outside of our control is charged at £150/Hour.  

Where applicable barns must be cleared and ready to accept bales.

Seed and fertiliser rates must be confirmed in writing as well as verbally.

We accept no responsibility for damage to machines during transit or operation.

A surcharge mayl be applicable for replacement/and/or collection of Hay or Straw or Haylage, where there is no physical defect with it, this does NOT apply where there is a physical problem (IE mould etc).

Bale weights and sizes are approximate and are likely to vary due to differences in crop moisture at the time of baling.

Machinery is strictly SOLD AS SEEN and no guarantee is implied or offered.

A minimum job charge may be applied to small jobs and/or where there is insufficient crop to make the work viable.

A minimum charge of 8 hrs per day applies to LGV Operator hire, no time will be deducted for legal Tacho breaks.
